Anyone know a good hair straightener?

It depends on your price range.

if you're going under or around the 100 range, i'd recommend a HAI or a Solia. Both are great quality salon irons that straighten your hair quickly without damaging it too much, as opposed to the CHI which has questionable durability and no heat settings.

you can find both via Folica.com, or in select salons:

If you're going up a little higher in the price range, the Sedu is a GREAT iron. It works wonders on thick, coarse hair and it leaves your hair soft and shiny. The new Sedu Revolution's shape also makes it easier to flip/curl with your flat iron also:

And for the King of irons, it has to be the GHD- it's simply one of the best irons out there- the heat actually adjust autmatically to your hair type (theres heat sensors inside the plates), it has great ceramic plates that straighten your hair quickly, efficently, and does minimal damage, and it's super durable and versatile in creating a sleek flat look, loose waves, or bouncy curls, BUT, the GHD costs upwards of 200 dollars, which is why most people generally in the US don't buy them as much as people in the UK:

good luck!Anyone know a good hair straightener?
I've had so many, I know what ones work and don't. Chi is definitely the best, they're pricey but you can get them cheap on ebay. Also the Professional Salon brand are also good. The higher the priced the better they work.Anyone know a good hair straightener?
