What would be a good hair straightener for dry thick hair!? HELP PLEASE!!!?

when i was little i had straight hair! it looked natural and great! but i don't know what happened to it! now my hair is dry! i have black/brown hair and it's very poofy sometimes, very coarse and of course dry! my friend has the GVP but i don't know if it would be good for me. does anyone know where i can get a good hair straightener for my hair??? PLEASE HELP ME I'M DESPERATE!!!What would be a good hair straightener for dry thick hair!? HELP PLEASE!!!?
Try GHD ,it will make your hair not too dry .but don't use straightener too ofen .What would be a good hair straightener for dry thick hair!? HELP PLEASE!!!?
dont use a straightner. it will make your hair dryer. but if u have to use it use something to protect it.

Good hair straightener for thick wavy hair?

my frend has thick wavy hair and she straightens it every night or morning but she wants one that makes her hair look better and will make her hair stay straight for a longer time and besides the one she has is a one she's had for a while

*DieHardJonasBrothersFan*Good hair straightener for thick wavy hair?
the chi. it's amazing and works on any hair type. it's pretty expensive though, around $200 but it works great!Good hair straightener for thick wavy hair?
dr. miracle's xtra strength relaxer is beautiful or if u have a sensitive scalp use the regular strength. emotions is a strong perm too but i would go with dr. miracle's
hayy!

my hair is like that.

i just have a revlon.

it works good.

it was like.

27 bucks.

=]
uhm.. i don't know exactly a type of brand.

but i think a chi would be better.

When she straightens her hair, do it in layers. really thin layers. it'll be really straight if it's done in layers.

and don't do it TOO hot. if the chi is too hot. it'll burn her hair.

and it doesn't smell good nor does it look good.

trust me.. lol
i have the same hair!! i've used a CHI and it's been great.. another is GHD or GLOBAL. great!!
I have REALLY thick hair, I have the CHI and I love it. I don't have any damage, and it works soooo well. One of the best hair investments you'll ever make. I've never meet someone who didn't love it. Chi has an amazing line of products from heat protection ( i have) to shine boosters (etc.).
GHD, Theyre meant to be the strongest and best on the market.
I also have thick, very curly hair and I've had lots of straighteners before but the one that has always worked the best is my Chi. You can buy them at beauty stores like Ulta. It keeps hair straight and silky all day, but be careful with it, it gets extremely hot.

Hope this helps!
well it depends on what price range your looking for.

for a so-so straightener that will sufficiently do the job and is a relatively low price remmington, tresemme, vidal sasson that type of stuff

for a great straightener that will do an awesome job but quite bit more money you should look for something like GHD,G4 or something like that.
try having her go to a hair salon and ger a striagthening perm. it's a chemical treatment they do on the hair that will permently striaghten the hair she would just have to go in every few months to retouch her roots, but she needs to remember not the wash or get her hair wet for the first 2 days imdeiatly after she gets it striaghten or it wont be as good
I really like chi's. their thin and maneuverable, but I have thick wavy hair also so i bought this big black one by conair.

for the most part it keeps my hair pretty straight, the only thing that curls is my bangs, but my straightener has a built in comb on the end so as you straighten it combs out your hair so you don't have to go over it as many times reducing heat damage.

http://www.samstores.com/_images/products/Conair%20cs19.jpg

it's a beast! lol
I TECH .COM ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING MY SALON USES IT
CHI!!
I have really thick hair also an im puerto rican and black so i know how it is to have that thick wavy hair i have a blog about it and some tips on things to look for in a blow dryer. hope this helps...

What is a good hair straightener that curls hair?

2 days ago my mom's cousin curled my hair with a straightening iron. It was a conair straightener. The curl lasted long unlike curling irons. It MADE MY HAIR A BIT FRIZZY THOUGH. I might buy it, but I don't know whether or not i should buy a better one.

I want to buy a straightener that is under $100.

And I want a straightener that makes curls last long really long, like at least one full day.

I also want something that won't damage my hair.

One more thing,... I can't purchase off the internet. What is a good hair straightener that curls hair?
a STRAIGHTENER that CURLS hair? What is a good hair straightener that curls hair?
I have a Pink Wetline Pro that curls %26amp; straightens, it was $129 but it's worth every penny! it straightens without the frizz, and it lasts for 3-4 days without washing. Also, because it's 1'; wide you can curle easily with it. Hope this helps!
the CHI but its over 100

What's a good hair straightener? ?

I have VERY thick hair so I need a good one.

I dont want it to damage my hair.

Im willing to pay up to $150, nothing more.

I take care of my things and Im hoping to keep it for a while.

Pics if u can. Thx :DWhat's a good hair straightener? ?
I have a chi straightener, and I SWEAR it's probably one of the best Straighteners there is I have tried so many different kinds. They cost about 100 dollars, you can find them at a Cole's Salon (i think) or at a trade secret I know they have them there before, and If i am not mistaken they have a life time warranty too... They also can curl your hair because the plates move and can even spiral curl your hair as well VERY COOL!!! below is a site where you can get them for actually cheaper...

GOOD LUCK!!!What's a good hair straightener? ?
GVP hair straighteners work very well. I have thick curly hair, and I use my GVP straightener. Your hair becomes straight after only one stroke! It's an amazing product. It also makes your hair very soft and shiny and doesn't really seem to damage it.

Don't buy a chi because there are no temperature dial and they break really easily.
Okay, I have a Sedu, and I also have very thick hair. I bought it from folica.com and it was $115. Sedus work great! Also, for the same price, you could try a GHD, Solia, or a Chi. I'll post a picture of the Sedu for you.
http://www.myhairstylingtools.com/ the first one works very good, i have to straighten my grandmas hair all the time and it works very well and it doesnt make your hair start to smoke. 99$ cant blow off!
A good straightener would be a Chi straightener i have really thick hair to and it works like magic on my hair.
ummm i'm not sure how much it is but a chi is amazing. Some places i've seen them sold for around 150$. They are amazing and leave your hair feeling and looking amazing!
get a CHI. it's a really good straightener, i got mine for about $100. it straightens your hair with ions instead of frying it.
the chi hair straightener its kinda cheap and it works wonders

good luck :)
GHD, they are really good. But it depends where your from the price will variy alot
any type of chi

I'm looking for a good hair straightener. I have a Remington Slim Wet2Straight at the moment, but it takes so long to straighten my hair and it gives my hair split ends. I don't want to pay to much for a new one. Help, anyone?Buying a good hair straightener... Help! Please!?
use the Chi it works WONDERS :) some people selling other hair straighteners will try to tell you otherwise but dont listen, they are just scared of the competition.Buying a good hair straightener... Help! Please!?
The best ones are usually expensive, and i noticed from france.

I would just go to SAlly's Beauty Supply, or Ulta,

and ask someone working, maybe even your hair dresser,

on advice of a new flat iron. %26amp; most all flat irons give split

ends, so use an after conditioner.
Oh gosh. NEVER USE A WET TO DRY STRAIGHTENER. Most of them tend to damage your hair. It's safe to say that you should just blow dry it as straight as you can first then look for a ceramic straightener that will touch things up. Go to Wal-Mart. That's where I got mine and it costed 12(?) bucks? And I have thick wavy hair too. I don't really use mine much because my waves are very controlled and need much work.
Chi is good but very expensive. It usually falls around the $100's.. And the straightener that I have is the Bed Head Rockstar and its really amazing.. And it's only $60.. So I suggest you get the Bed Head one. You could order it online or find it at Target and other places. Good luck. =]
i have very curly hair and i hate using hair straighteners that damage my hair. i use straighteners that are ceramic. if you go to any store like wal-mart or target im sure they have semi-cheap ones that are really good. just make sure it has the word ceramic in it
The Chii. Yes, though expensive, it will straighten your hair like a dream, straightens it quickly, makes it soft and shiny, and it's a good investment in looking awesome.
Even though Chi straighteners can be expensive they are worth it. Just go to a Ulta near year an get one they have some with cute designs or just plain black.

    Good luck finding one :)
Straighteners that are expensive are usually really good straighteners. the CHI is a great straightener
Chi forget all the long ones get a chi or a cheepy chi 20$ I've seen way cheep

Anyone know of a good hair straightener??

Well i had the conair ceramic technology straighener ; and it doesnt work well for my hair ; does anyone have any suggestionss? i reallly need helpp. Anyone know of a good hair straightener??
My hair stylist (and good friend) recommends the chi as the best brand of straightener. It's really important to use a thermal protection spray while straightening. My friend also told me that using a high quality smoothing shampoo and conditioner (like Redken's Smooth line) helps the straightener work better, no matter what brand you have. It works for my unruly hair.

Good luck!Anyone know of a good hair straightener??
i have the chi straightener and it works great!!!! i have really curly hair and it ,makes my hair very straight!! my hairdresser recomended this and it worked great :D:D:D hope i helped

    answer mine???http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;/a>
i have a chi, you can get it from almost any hair salon. it runs from $100 - $150. its a litle pricey, but its the best straightener ever. i love it.
wet to straight! you can straighten your hair when its wet or dry and it works really good!
the chi or ghd is the best you need to buy these from your stylist or some where they sell professional products.
The Chi is good, but I think the Maxi Glide is the best.
try asking your hair stylist they know your hair well and should know
    Sedu. It's the best.

I'm looking for a good hair straightener to buy?

if u could tell me the make and model

and were i could buy it from

my hair is long and quite thinI'm looking for a good hair straightener to buy?
GHDs are by far the best. get them from any good beauty salon, they are about 拢90. If you are wanting to spend less, you could try boots. you want something with ceramic plates, as they will do the least damage to your hair.I'm looking for a good hair straightener to buy?
GHD's from the well know auction site e bay are best, as you can get them for around 拢70 plus a heat mat or some styling products etc included

GHD do seem to be the best cannot beat them really hope this helps
    Babyliss is also very good

Try to get one of those ';ionic'; one's. They do less damage aswell.
GHD's. most top hairdressers stock them. use a serum with them cuz they will DESTROY your hair.
    Buy GHD it's the best
    iron it on ironing board
i got my ghds from salonproffessional.com they cost me 拢85.00 and they are really good but since you got thin hair youd be best off gettn the next cheaper one
GHD are the best but make sure you use the serum as you hair can get badly damaged .
Remington are just as good as GHD and it wont cost you yhe earth!
GHD's are the best but preety expensive. Remingtons do ggod deals. 拢30 and very powerful. Argos has a few choices.
ghd at the mall or sallys
Considering that you have thin hair and how harsh hair straighteners are, you might wanna go to a good salon have it done professionally. You can totally mess up your hair when you don't know how to do it right. Believe me, I've had the worst hair straightening experience. I had it done in a less-than-stellar salon about 3 years ago, and eventhough my hair is normally quite strong, the inexperienced hairdresser just did such a poor job that it left my hair spongy and brittle and looking like masticated straw! I had to cut it all of. At least my hair was just shoulder length so it was not such a big loss, but imagine if you had to cut off your long hair which you must have grown for such a long time! Don't gamble with your hair by doing it yourself.
ghds are the best but there also ones called quick they are cheaper and hotter then ghds but make sure you buy the protecter spray else you will ruin your hair they also have a heat setting on them so you decide what heat your putting on your hair.
I would say GHD %26amp; T3 are the best ones around at the moment!
go on the internet and search for hair art they do really great straightners that are really cheap
    obvious one is ghd ceramic

but look at any ceramic straightener should be fine,

    eBay, catalogues
ghd's all the way. any good hairdressers should stock them. make sure you use heat protection spray as they get very hot.
If you can afford it get GHD'S if not the next best are halo hairstraightners, type it in the search bar.I have some and they are great! and only 拢30.00!
GHD'S you can't beat them. look on the net ti order some
I use a Babyliss one called Wet and Dry. It also straightens wet hair.

It's ceramic, and has different temperatures so you don't burn your hair. It locks in shine and keeps moisture at bay so it won't frizz or curl.

There's also a turbo button which makes it SUPER sleek, but the temp for that is 200degrees so use it sparingly!

I've tried a lot of straighteners, including those from hairdressers and this is the one I've had the best results from.

I bought mine here in Sweden and it cost about 鈧?0.

I guess you'd get it in Boots. I know Debenhams here have them too so try there...

    Good luck!
GHD Ceramic is the best i use it on my long thin hair as well, my sister uses it as well and she has medium legnth hair that is really thick, to get the full effect you might want to try V05 spray that keep your hair hydrated and does not let the heat burn you hair! Hope that was helpful!
ghd are the best although i have had a pair of mark hill for 3 years now. use them every day and still going strong.
For about 20 to 25 dollars you can buy a straightener at Walgreen's. The brand is Conair its black and the ironing squares our a goldish color. I use it and i have long thick hair.
ghds are the best you can get them second hand on ebay
GHD's GHD's Nothing in the world beats them!!!!
    GHD hair straighteners are great.

You can buy them on the internet if you search for them on yahoo.

You can get pink ones ( that's what i have ) for breast cancer.

    They cost about 拢80

You can also get them at your nearest salon :0)

And they have amazing hair products for you to use aswell that help to prevent the damage the heat would do to your hair!
Ermmm generally speaking I would say GHD'S they are fantastic straighteners. However if as you say your hair is exceptionally thin, then I would recommend a straightner with a lower or a least variable heating setting. The argos magazine is your best bet for that...then of course go onto ebay and get it for cheaper. ooo and don't forget cermatic is essential. Hope that helps
as a hairdresser i would suggest that u buy a red hot hair straighteners this will give u the look u want and the reason that i suggest this is because heat is not really good for yours hair so wiv this straighteners u can put it and the right temperature. To avoid damageing Ur hair 2day y don't u just buy a red hot from boots 15.00
ghd r the best from a salon ive got longish thick hair and ahve sum newish remington wet to dry there gud but bought them and dont use them, they r remington cost 80 pound
if your hair is thin i would suggest Toni %26amp; Guy straightners from boots the only cost around 拢30-拢40 and are fantastic, i've had mine now for about 2 years and would reccommend them to anyone.
    ghd...are brilliant..

    it should be pretty good

it would be excellent to curl since it has the curved edges on the sides

and the only downside also applies to ALL straightners

they have a limited warrenty and they can burn ur hair so use hair protection

It is a Shiruku Chi Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron

Does anyone know anything about it or have any feedback on it from personal use! Anything would be great! Is this a good hair straightener?
I just purchased two for my fiance. Yeah, she was complaining about ';Are You Gonna Have a Ring For Me or Not';, so I put a lid on it by buying her a Chi Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron. Ebay, you can find it so much cheaper. Find the sellers that only sell CHI. Their inventory is all brand new, never used. I opened the box and she's lovin it. A word of advise, I only buy from sellers that have very good feedback from buyers.

It bought me some time until she gets a little needy again. Is this a good hair straightener?
Everyone I know who uses a Chi says it's fabulous.
i own a chi hair straightener and it works really well!! i'm not sure about the one that you are looking at but the one that i own is black and it says chi in yellow or orange letters on the front of it. the only bad thing is that the one that i have costs like $100 and i'm not sure if you are looking to spend that much money.
Chi straightners are the best you can get, a little pricey, but worth it.
    ya i know this one.its amazing.try it.
I Haven't had any recent use with it but in my experience it is really good.
yea, i own one. its awesome!

I've heard that it's a good straightener, although I've never used it personally.

well personally i dont think so i love the flat irons the ones that clamp because its better at straightening then the comb kind but it depends on your style

i recently bought a flat iron and it works really well.its conair infiniti.i have really thick curly hair and i can straighten all my hair within 20 minutes or soWhat's a good hair straightener?
I use hot tool, and I like it. my hair is pretty healthy, too
Everybody seems to like the CHI but I have a Corioliss (pink one). If u want to flat-iron wet hair they make one for this too. I would say the best is one that is ceramic of course, and has ionic technology and some tourmaline (these defrizz your hair while it flattens it.. making it easier to iron!!!) And both the CHI and Corioliss heat up FAST..it starts warming up when u plug it in..and u can start using it after 5 minutes.
Chi straighteners are good. They are really high up there with all the good ones.. it is also high there with prices.
BrAun! i've tried many of them but, for so long, my BrAun has lasted the longest and has given me the best results!

it heats up in 30 seconds, its easy to take with you, and doesn't fry your hair!
Remington!!! i've tried Braun n Revlon. But Remington is the best i think. it's expensive though, around 85euros, well..maybe in the US it's cheaper.
chis they r the best they work for every type of hair and banna curl too they rock
Sedu straightners at www.folica.com or at salons you can get it! Trust me it will leave your hair straight for a long time and leave it nice and smooth. Plus, it dosen't pull your hair!!!

Is the ';Unique hair hydration system'; just a load of rubbish or does it actually mean something?

Has anyone used or does use this hair straightener, or even this brand, who has any comments?

Much appreciated..Is this a good hair straightener?
First of all the brand speaks for itself; Remington has been around for sometime now and has a great reputation for making quality products. The 'ceramic' technology is the latest which produces negative ions that leaves hair static free, smooth and shiny - I guess that what you're really looking for in a straightener to produce. The additional features are really just to make the product stand out from the rest. Either it's Tourmaline-ceramic or Ceramic diamond Teflon, the 'ceramic' bit is the one responsible for producing that ionic conditioning effect which I mentioned gives your hair more shine, static-free, smooth and makes straightening your hair easier and faster because it glides easier hence, less damage to the hair done. Get the product that has this technology, compare prices (as I said, you pay the price of the product by it's name and reputation) and get the one that's up your budget. Is this a good hair straightener?
Yes they are very good. I bought them for my daughter.
after 29 products, this is the only one that promised EVERYTHING it said on the bottle it would do !!

the one who created this must've been the smartest woman alive with the worst case of bad hair day!!!
idk it might be i use a revlon straightner and so does everyone else in my school. i have NEVER even heard of this brand before until now.
i have brought about 5 different hair straightners and the best i have come across i GHD
Get a GHD, I've had loads of hair straighteners and ghd are by far the best ones
That looks like a good quality hair straightener!I say buy it!

    =)
    yup
chi %26amp; taurs is the best ever even there blow dryers are good
    hi,

GHDS are the best HONESTLY i have them they are amazning you can also curl your hair and wave it with a ghd straightener ( go on you tube and ype in curling hair ghds)

or waving hair with flat iron

GHDS are the most fabulose hair steraighteners and they are cheaper than tye chi ande thats not available in england i dont think :)
I used to use that it wrecked the ends of my hair no lie so I had to cut it. I use the Chi it is a really good straightner, but also may I suggest using a blow dryer to straighten your hair it works just as well.

Here is the Chi ( they are rated the best in hair salons) I used to work in Fekkai in NYC, but now I work at another salon.

    http://www.beautygalaxy.com/index.asp?Pa…
i have the remmington wet to straight hair straightener and it works great for me. it will dry your hair when its wet and most hair straighteners dont do that. i dont know if the one ur talking about is good but i know that mine is. and its about half the price too. also, you can change the temperature, and it beeps when its ready. not sure if all can do that or not. but the wet to straight can.

sorry i cant tell you about the one u asked but i hope this still helped.
Its just a better way of detailing how great an iron is. I never have heard of it myself but just about any ceramic flat iron should work well. Ceramic irons are made to protect your hair while working with high volumes of heat. A very popular ceramic flat iron is the Chi Iron. It starts at a hundred but it is very well worth it. You can find it at folica.com or just about any beauty salon. You can also try Bed Bed Bath and Beyond, Ulta, or Target.
i never heard of it and never seen it in the store before so if i were you i would get something that you know is going to work well ask your frieends what kind they have, i have 3 and the best one is made by conair t really works well!!!!
idk about the strainghtener but it is a good brand i would say it is good
not one of the best, but ok!
The higher the price, the better it will usually be. My parents got me a $40 Conair Flat-Iron, and it works fine. I think you should go for what is in your price range.
Chi is the best you can get. Yes, just go to google and it will take you to discount sites if you type in Chi flat irons.
    Yeah. That's good.
    could use an iron

If you're looking online, there are a lot of different ones to get from either the company site or places like ebay.

Chi and BaByliss straighteners are good.

Sally's Beauty Supply also has a lot of nice ones, if you have one in your area.

They even have generic knockoffs (GVP) that are really good; they cost about $60, but I've used them and they straighten very nicely (and my hair is very curly, coarse, and thick).

Good luck. :]WHERE CAN YOU BUY A REALLY GOOD HAIR STRAIGHTENER ? ! ?
You can get a GHD at Sephora. They are located in most malls or you can order it online from their website. Also if you want to look at other great straighteners I suggest a Solia, Fhi, or Sedu. You can look at peoples review and the different brands. I own both a solia and a GHD and they are amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Here's the site http://www.folica.com/hair_straighteners/a> Just click on the brand names on the left. Straighteners are also a little less ifyou order them from here. Good Luck:)
Sally Beauty has anything you can thing of and sale a lot of salon quality styling tools. You can check them out online or go to your local one.

I have an andis ceramic and while it wasn't pricey, it has lasted and works great.
    folica.com

Or ebay once you know which one you want. I found my Chi on folica and got it brand new on ebay for a lot less because they're pretty pricey, but it works so good and leaves my hair shiny after straightening.
the ones i have are 拢10 from tesco but have lasted me 2 years and still work in perfect condition http://www.hji.co.uk/blogs/business/GHD-straighteners.jpg
Definitely at your local mall, there are little booths for beauty with flat irons that really work! I tried it! (: and my hair is hard to straighten!
    Sally's Beauty supply

GVP straightener is really good :)
In google, type in GHD and look at the best prices.

Or from the GHD website it comes with free sprays and a heat protective mat with next day delivery

Is this a good hair straightener?

hey. so i use to have a chi... that was good but it broke.. then i had a fhi.. that was crap.. then a jilbere de paris... that was pretty good. then a revlon... crap. so i was wondering if this would be a good straightener? any idea??

    http://www.sallybeauty.com/flat-iron/SBS/a>

thanks! Is this a good hair straightener?
yes its a great straightener, i used to have one (i gave it to my sister) and i absolutely adored it... i love that it has different heat settings for different hair types and it heats up SO quickly! i can straighten my hair twice as fast as with my conair one. its worth the price!

Help i can't find a good hair straightener!?

my hair straightener breaks every month or so and it's a real pain in the ***. i usually just get the cheap $25 straighteners cuz i can't really afford a good one. but anyway i have really thick hair. got any recommendations for an inexpensive and quality hair straightener? thanks.Help i can't find a good hair straightener!?
just use an iron. Or you blow dry the hair and use a curling brush. Just blow and comb and the same time

    Really good hair straightener?

okay so for christmas im gonna ask for a straightener. but i need a good one. my hair is poofy and wavy/curly and frizzy. i need a good one that will get my hair straight, not poofy or frizzy, and keep my hair straight (my one now doesnt work as well) oh and please have it not that expensive. maybe like $50ish. idk. but thanks for your help!Really good hair straightener?
Many people think that Remington Wet 2 Straight straighteners or Conair ones are good enough, but they do not know that there are straighteners out there that will straighten your hair in much less time AND will leave your hair a lot straighter, silkier, and shinier. Not to mention these straighteners will keep your hair straight for weeks and weeks, as long as you don't get it wet (with the exception of washing it)

Basically, I think you should just get one off this list. These straighteners all work good and have customer reviews and before %26amp; after pics. This is a top ten list, so yeah.

    http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh/a>Really good hair straightener?
i have the pink corioliss. its normally about 250 in the mall but i got it on ebay for 50. it works really well and your hair doesnt frizz out
the best straiteners are at least $100 if you don't want to damage your hair without putting product in it, %26amp;the CHI is the very best to go with, even if your willing to spend $300 on a straitner
wet 2 straight is my favorite. they are like $30 at wal*mart or target. i have the same type of hair and it keeps it nice and straight.
    CHI CHI CHI CHI CHI
chi's are by far the best but they are like 100$. revelon wet to straight is pretty good too 2nd best and it is 30$
that price range in between decent and pretty good

for around $65-70 you could get a bed head

    $25-40 helen of troy

    $20-25 conair

    $20-25 revlon

    $50 wigo
CHI- best straightner by far. It heats up in seconds, and straightens fast and easy. The straightness lasts all day and if doesnt leave your hair dryed out and frizzy but instead smooth and shiney! It costs about $130, but trust me, its worth the money, especially since you wont need to replace it for many many many years. I have hair just like yours and it takes me 15 minutes tops to straighten it.

    Merry christmas! =]
HairArts are really good, but they're about $80. For a better price, I suggest an infiniti by Conair 1'; Solid Ceramic straightener. Just don't get a wet to straight one (or whatever they're called), they really damage your hair and usually don't last long. You may also want to get a good heat protectant, like TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protectant Spray, to reduce/prevent damage. =)

Whats a good hair straightener to buy?

My old hair straightener is from conair, it's the black one with the tannish irons in there. I think it was about 30 bucks. But i need a new one that actually leaves your hair nice and straight. My old one makes my hair straight but after a half hour to an hour, it gets messed up and my hair starts to become wavy a little. If anyone can recommend a specific hair straightener thats not too expensive and is professional or something, plz! Thanks lolWhats a good hair straightener to buy?
    CHI

    Babyliss

Paul MitchellWhats a good hair straightener to buy?
    Hey,

GHD's are very good, i have some and i highly recommend them, they keep your hair perfectly straight all through the day and although they are quite expensive they are definitely worth it. (www.ghdhair.com)

But if you wanted something abit cheaper but just as good Remington hair straighteners are brilliant my friend has a pair and they work just as well, they can be bought from many of your local electronic stores

    Hope that helps you decide

    x
My staightner is from Bespoke Labs--Tailored T3 technology. It is a professional straightner that my mom bought me up at a salon in the Twin Cities, MN. It cost about $150, but it works wonders on the hair, and keeps my hair straightened all day.

Here is a picture of it..

    http://www.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/93//a>
Chi straightners are the best in my oppinion. They're way over 30 dollars but in the long run they're worth it. I'd rather invest in one that works then have to pay for crappy ones over and over.

Chi's straighten your hair extremely really well and they don't burn it as bad.
'Remington proffesional' is a good one. make sure you buy one with ceramic plates though
GHD is the best in the world. Reduces the ironing time by half at least.
    cortex, but its about 140$
    get a small one
    GHD's

u cant go wrong with them

    Good hair straightener?

I want a pretty good hair straightener, but my hair is already pretty straight, but with a few waves, so I don't need anything super good. But all the strighteners I've seen that are even semi-good are pretty expensive. Any suggestions for inexpensive straighteners that work?Good hair straightener?
conair works well %26amp; is usually under 50 dollars.Good hair straightener?
Coriloiss straighteners are awesome. They are about 30 bucks on ebay, 100 in the mall. They usually have stations set up in malls, so go to one that's near year and they can let you test it out.
CONAIR! Only like $20.00 and it is awesome!
The Chi straigther is expensive but worth it. Many people that I know have used and it works really well. Its worth the money..its one of the best straightners ever.
well my own straightener works at my store u could by them its only about 40$ for tha small ones and tha big ones r 50$!
Don't buy a hair straightner for under $100, it'll kill your hair. They expensives one are good for a reason...
bed head r really good straightners beleive me my hair waz straight even when i took a shower
chi and hairart are really good! you might want to get spray on hair protector if you straighten your hair a lot
ion cermamic straightner you can buy it from Sally's beauty supplies
I love ';wet to straight';. It works great and is under $40!

Hope this helps! Good luck! :)
go to the local beauty supply store %26amp; any straightener in there that has a comb will work best. the comb is the key, at least in my experience with my hair which is similar to yours.
Almost every store on the planet sells hair straigteners, but places like CVS, Target, and Walmart have it cheap. Around $15 or $20 which would probably be best for you and your hair type. Also you don't want a straightener that will get super hot because you don't want to fry your hair. It's better if you have to go over your strands a few times to get it straight, rather than go over it once and completely screw up your hair.

Use a LOT of Conditioner everytime you take a shower, run your fingers through it and let it sit for a few minutes. This is the best way to keep your hair healthy, managable, and friendly when you are going to use a lot of heat on your head. Vive Pro has a good once a week conditioning therapy you could use once a week. I bought mine at Kmart for about $4 or $5. Also some dollar stores sell brand name shampoo. I got my first Vive Pro's from the dollar store by my house.

    I hope this helped a little. :-)
the key is making sure it is a ceramic straightner this is best for your hair, as with any styling that will case heat damage you should use a heat protection product....I highly recommed redken heat glide, I use that with a straightner I have had for 7 years, ceramic by conair no less, I paid 40-50 dollars for it and it works great 7 years later.....
i heard alot of good things about the wet to straight straightner by Revlon...i would like to try it myself.

I currently use the Chi right now and I love it..but it is kind of expensive for what you would want it for

Weird, i was going to suggest that one too.(: It's pretty good, it keeps my hair how i want it and gets it really straight and soft. I can go running in the summer and it won't frizz at all. What is a good hair straightener(iron) product?
Chi's are my favorite straighteners - but they are super pricey - about $100.

My stylist told me when I was looking for one to make sure I bought one with ceramic plates. The ceramic conducts heat better and won't be as damaging on your hair.
My straightening iron is called Porcelain and you can get them at Sally's Beauty Supply for only 19 dollars. It also gets rid of frizz. I also recommend using an Ion heat protection spray because it also gets rid of frizz.
i bought a generic chi for 80 bucks. just like the real thing. my hair is so curly and poofy and now it's shiny and straight. plus its not burnt bc chis burn.
the wide GHD are sooo amazing, my sister has hair lyk yours and when she uses them its lyk WOW

What are sum good hair straightener for colored hair???

Since colored hair tends to be dry and brittle, use a ';pre heating'; spray and spray it on your ends to give them that littloe extra protection. I would also def. go for a ceramic straightning iron. The CHI works wonders, but is a LITTLE pricey. Some cheaper ceramic straightners:

I say a CHI as well. I say def. buy it at a store/salon so that you have a reciept because otherwise their 1 year warranty will void! Some Trade Secret's do lifetime warranty on the CHI's too. :]

    A good hair straightener?

I have thick hair that is curly/wavy, and I want a straightener that can straighten it all the way in less than 45 minutes. I also want something that can heat up quickly and has a good heat recovery system, so I don't have to wait forever after straightening a part of my hair. Does anyone have any good suggestions? How much would a straightener like that cost?A good hair straightener?
GHD's are the only ones worth investing in. take it from someone who knows, no other straighteners have turned my pubic looking hair into smooth, sleek and glossy, of that, let me assure you!! their plates come in three sizes , for you it would be large , they retail from around 拢100 -拢130,worth their weight in gold, and im sure you'll pick them up on e-bay for a hell of a lot cheaper. paid 拢90 for my medium sized ones. dont be swayed either, all the other ones are mostly designed to look like GHD's but they dont come close. you have my word. good luck and happy hair days!!!A good hair straightener?
I have tried many different brands and my favorite is the Chi iron by Farouk. It has ceramic plates, heats up quickly and maintains it's heat. It also makes your hair feel really soft and adds some shine. At at salon they usually run 125.00, but you can get them on ebay for half that price. Even so, they are definitely worth the money.
Jilbare - its this french model and you can get it at any sally beauty supply store. I have the biggest thickest waviest hair and it makes it look soooo shiny and straight . It doesnt take three hours either.
well it would be like 70 dollars or something like that but i cant remember what the name is..
Use an ionic flat iron. It will not curl back easly.

Solia makes a Tourmaline Ceramic Ionic Flat Iron.

According to the Solia flat iron website, ';tourmaline,

a precious stone, is used to generate up to 6 times more

negative ions than traditional ceramic irons';.

  • Good Hair Straightener Brands?

I want to buy a hair straightener tomorrow, and I want to spend somewhere around 50$. Are their any good brands or straighteners I can get for around 50$?Good Hair Straightener Brands?
for around 30 the remington wet to straight works really well. even if your hairs not wet it works well. I have monsterly curly hair and i can use my straightner and makes it pin straightGood Hair Straightener Brands?
Yeah, Don't listen to anyone who says that Chi's are the best and you can't get a good one for under $50( I have a Beyond the zone one, It was $30 and I prefer that over a CHI, and I have thick curly hair, and It works perfect.)..You can. I'm not too good with brands, But look for one with a High Heat setting, and is ceramic(try Sally's.)
Honestly hun, the only place you will find a hair straightener for that price is the drug store and they all have the same quality no matter what it says on the box. It could work for you but if you have thick curly hair its best to spend the $200. Its well worth it though.
you cant really get a GOOD hair straightener for that price. but try the conair infiniti i believe its $60. the best is CHI and those run from $85+ depending on where you get it
You can't buy a good straightener with 50 bucks.

CHI's are the best, but they are $120.
Try Remmington, I got one from K-Mart for 40-something and its amazing

You get what you pay for so if you're spending less than 40 dollars on a straightener don't expect it to be amazing. You said you don't shop online but it's really worth your time. My husband bought me a CHI hair straightener new on Ebay for $70, retail value $140 =)

GET it. you won't regret it. it's suchh good quality and under fifty dollars? TWENTY dollars under fifty.(:

    yeahh.

    good luck!

%26lt;3.(:What is a really good hair straightener that is under 50$?
I guess the best one for right around $50 I could reccomend as a stylist would be by GVP (Great Value Products) Sallys has specials on them alot which is where you get them They are basically a generic Chi Straightner.

If you use the straightner properly you are going to get a good finished result. Here are some tips to remember.

    1. NEVER NEVER STRAIGHTEN WET HAIR

    2. PRODUCT IS YOUR BEST FRIEND! THERMAL PROTECTOR IS A MUST. Proclaim makes a pretty good one (its cheap and you can get it at sallys too) it is a little sticky but has a good hold too so it really helps keep the hair straight.

    3. Take small sections and make slow passes.

    4. The smaller the iron is the more precise it would be I would never reccomend purchasing one over an inch I prefer a 1/2 inch myself.

I personally have a Paul Mitchell straightner i use in the salon everyday and would reccomend it to anyone if you dont mind paying a little more.
I recommend the Wigo as well from Ulta. I have a zebra one. Just to show you what mine looks like...

    http://www.folica.com/Hot_Tools_Beaut_d5074.html

It's only $30 as well and works wonderfully. I can even straighten coarse and curly hair with it. And don't forget a heat protectant. I good one is ';Control Freak'; by Bed Head.
I think Remington is the best straightener for under $50. I recommend you buy one but the only problem i have found is that it does damage your hair a little bit. Only to my experience it has damaged my hair but thats with every hair straightner.
Well I have conair and it works perfectly fine and my hair is not real good like you can say. My fiancee bought it for me in Rite Aid $20 only. I though it wasn't going to work, but I've had it for 1 year, and still perfectly fine. It has up to 25 for the heat. and even turbo.
I have a Remington and it works really good.

I have a really thin one and it goes up to 430 degrees. But I don't put it so high unless I want really straight hair. My straightener curls my hair as well.

I suggest you get one of those mines cost $30 at target and I love it:)
Jilbere de Paris!! i've been using it for 3 years and it's still brand new! and it works really well and not exensive at all!! not like the brands that claim to be better. go to sally beauty supplies they're like 45 dollars!! :D hope i helped!
conair is good for my hair

dont believe people when they say it sucks because it depends on what hair you have
save ur money and get a sedu professional around 140..they will last you longer and work 100 times better then those cheaper POS!!!
    remingtion wet and dry.

    its the best.

    never use conair.

    it sucks.

I need a cheap but good hair straightener ?

i can only spend about 20$ but i have hair that has little kinks in it that are almost impossible to straighten out

please help me? I need a cheap but good hair straightener ?
    conair's ceramic straightener, $21.50

works really well. it's 2 inches wide and heats in thirty seconds.

it's awesome, i use it every morning and i have straight hair for the rest of the day. I need a cheap but good hair straightener ?
I have a remmington wet2straight that works really well for me. I bought the narrow one instead of the wide one that was only 20 bucks. But also try sally's beauty supply like the other girl said. :)

and even tho it advertises that you can straighten your hair when it's wet, don't do it!!!!!!
i bought it for that and is now in the garbage.wait till you can afford a good one.expensive but worth it.have your family give you money in advance for birthday presents.remember use serum to protect-or the loreal cream pink bottle.do not abuse it.you will burn your hair, and yes,it will be straight but brittle and dead with split ends which looks bad bad bad...it is an addiction...i have it but resist it...
I have thick wavy hair and i have tried so many straighteners, and none of the cheap ones worked very well. I would go to sallys and try to get the cheapest one there. My straightener is from sallys and it works better than the chi its a tourmaline series.
You may also want to invest in hair products that claim to straighten hair. That will help alot if you have hair that is difficult to straighten. John Freida's frizz ease collection is decent and not as expensive as the salon brands.
try babyliss straightener here it's pic

    http://base0.googlehosted.com/base_media/a>

it is about 39$ b, it is the cheapest good hair straightener
This is only $17 and 2 out of 3 reviews gave it 5 stars

    http://www.sallybeauty.com/helen-170W-fl/a>

try sallys beauty supply, but if you want one that will prolly work id spend min $30, but they have cheaper ones that I have herd worked. (use to work there for 6 months)
    Cheap is not always good.

    Good is not always cheap.
Why don't u go to any cheap beauty parlour?

Good hair straightener that doesn't make hair smell bad?

Hey everyone, my old hair straightener broke and i was wondering what is a good straightener that will NOT make your hair smell bad? thanks!!!Good hair straightener that doesn't make hair smell bad?
I have a CHI nano, and it works wonders. It also doent make your hair smell either. It only does what its supposed to- And that is straighten your hair! And it is top of the line. Its a lil pricey, but well worth the money!Good hair straightener that doesn't make hair smell bad?
U know what works very well a wet2straight one i have it and it works SO good i just get out of the shower and straiten it and it works SO well also on your bangs if u have them try super straight spray by dove it works well
hmm r u talking about a burning smell from the straigthener or the metal on the straightener? try either the revlon ceramic straightener (u can get at walmart, target, etc.) or if u want higher end...get the kind by Chi. they both work well, it depends on the operator really. maybe try a fragrant hair serum to mask the smell? good luck!
That smell is ur hair burning, try not to use a straightener every day. best if u don't use one at all, kills the amino acids that help make hair grow and make it healthy. If you MUST use a straightener then don't wash you hair that often. Try only washing ur hair once a week. I know your hair will seem greasy the fist 2 weeks you try it but after awhile your hair will adapt to your new routine and become healthyer.
get one fr a salon. theyll know best.
Compare here some of the best hair straighteners there are many reviews.

    December 29, 2006

    Dear Conair,

All my life I have struggled with my curly hair. It took me 45 minutes to blow dry my hairs to somewhat straighten, then use a straightener to finish it.

But even after all that, it still wasn’t straight. I recently saw your TV ad for your new Infiniti blow dryer with attached straightening brush. I told my daughter “that’s what I want for my birthday”!

Well today is my 43rd birthday and I’m using my new dryer. For the first time not only is my hair straight, but I didn’t have to use a straightener and it took less than 20 minutes to blow dry. And to think I was ready to try the very expensive straightening technique called thermal reconditioning.

I just wanted to thank you for a great produce! I’m sure I will wear it out and when I do I will purchase another one promptly.

I own several Conair products, and this one is my favorite and best by far. Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Natalie F. Martin

Brand leaders don't innovate. They radically change.

In 1970 Conair introduced the pistol grip hair dryer and took a leadership position in the industry we've held for almost 40 years.

In September 2005, Conair's French subsidiary BaByliss, introduced a patent-pending design to control frizz, straighten hair, and to add shine and volume in one step. The BeLiss effectively eliminated the hairbrush for straightening and by December was the number one seller in France.

Coming to the U.S. as the Infiniti Hair Designer™ this revolutionary Tourmaline Ceramic™ styler is priced and positioned to capture a market that demands high-end, professional-caliber tools for salon results at home.

*** ALthough the prices are a little high, they are lower than most salons. These two are better for your hair anyway because they put out IONS which protect your hair from heat. In the long run, purchasing one of these will be worth the price because you won't reck your hair. CONAIR is very good when it comes to hair. Because theese are not cheap ones, your hair definetly won't smell.

Anyone know of a good hair straightener?

I have a Sedu, love it. Works great and is small and lightweight. It doesn't peel like the ones I have bought for 30 bucks... Revlon and Loreal. It's really smooth and can go over 400 degrees. I also have that red infinity steam straightener, I hate that and the water empties extremely fast but the steam makes my hair weird anyways. I would look into the Sedu and read the reviews. Has endless great reviews.Anyone know of a good hair straightener?
Chi is the best straightener out there. I have crazy, frizzy, VERY curly hair (it's naturally in ringlets), and hard to straighten. The Chi straightener kept my hair straight for 2 days and I didn't even have to touch up in the morning after I slept on it. It kept straight until my next shower. It was awesome. They can be a bit pricey though, but they're really worth it.

If you don't want to spend that much, I also own the Cricket straightener, and it's pretty good too.

hope that helps.Anyone know of a good hair straightener?
    Depends on your hair type.

CHIs are good if you have somewhat wavy hair (very damaging)

GHDs are good if you have puffy hair (very damaging)

Remington Shine therapy is super amazing if you have any type of hair

Conair infinity is super good for curly hair

Avoid Wet to Straights because they fry your hair

Be sure to put any straightener on medium or low to not burn your hair (high on any brand will damage over a short period of time)I need a good hair straightener for wavy/curly/medium thin hair?
Your best bet is the Chi ceramic flat iron. It's known to work miracles on my nappy wig.=-)
    chi.

that is a straight answer. Yes, they are expensive but they are totally worth it.

There are 2 solutions you need to buy also so it doesn't fry your hair.

It's in a red squirt bottle. It protects your hair from the extreme heat. and a small silver bottle with red cap.

Re-hydrates %26amp;%26amp; adds shine to hair.

    =]] HIH
The CHI flat iron is the best. But be sure to use a Thermal protectant sray on your hair, these irons get very hot,and the spray protects your hair and aids in get it very straight and smooth.
Get a ceramic straightener. The ceramic works best with curlier hair and won't damage thin hair either. I like the Solia wet to dry iron myself.
Try the CHI straightner by Farouk. Its the best in the industry. It will straighten any kind of hair, and leave it looking silky and shiny as well. For best results use with BioSILK heat smoothing spray (comes in a silver bottle). It is designed expecially for the CHI iron. Oh, and it also takes about 10 seconds for it to heat up. I couldnt live without it.
wet to straight straigteneer my hair is naturally curly and its not even expensive.
my hair is Naturally curly and THICK and i have a wet to dry straightener and it works SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!!! i love it
WHATEVER YOU DO...DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE TELLING YOU TO BUY A WET TO DRY STRAIGHTENER!!! Getting one of those is the worst move you could ever make. They cause THE most damage to your hair. You should NEVER use a hot tool on wet hair. An excellent straightener is one made by Hot Tools. You can find them on amazon or at a local beauty supply store, and its fairly cheap. It'll run you about $40 or so. They make them thin or thick. I used one of those for years, but then I broke it. (I had dropped it, and part of it cracked). In the past 4 years, I've had two of them. Now I have a thin straightener made by Revlon, which I found at Wal-mart for about $30. They both heat up quickly and they both work great on curly/wavy/frizzy hair. (I should know) But personally I like the hot tools one better. It straightened quicker, with the Revlon I have to go over my hair a few times. But either one works. And don't straighten every day, that's the key, you should let your hair rest a day or two out of the week. AND DON'T BUY A WET TO DRY ONE!
make sure to buy a THIN straightener...the thicker they are the more they damage your hair...I would look around a store like ULTA....they have some really good, high end ones there...they usually run around about 100 bucks but they will last for a long time, and won't ruin your hair!!!!

the one i have is a one inch ONYX straightener and it works wonders on my hair!!!!

    good luck girlie!!!! =)
I use 2 different ones the Chi and a Marcell.

The marcell is what most beauticians use in the salons, it gets hotter than the Chi and can be used in the kitchen. (Looks like a straightening comb)
I've been thinking of getting the Sedu. Take a look at the reviews.

    http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_r1/a>

If that's too much $, then go to a Sally Beauty Store and get a Jilbere Nano Tech digital flat iron, it's really good.

    Hope it helps!

the BEDHEAD straightener works well for me. im not exactly positive if it costs less than 25$ but im almost positive it is under 30. i have a CHI also, but for when that one isn't working or if i am going somewhere and dont want to take the expensive one, i take the bedhead one. its hot pink and lights up when you turn it on. there are heat options up to 400 degrees and down to 250ish. it can get my unusually thick hair from crazy curly how i wake up to pin straight in like 15 minutes, and you can do pretty good styling with it. the styling doesnt work as good as a chi but itll get you from curly to straight really well. you can get them at target, meijer, walgreens, etc. hope i helped(: good luck!I need a cheap but good hair straightener [with heat options] One that costs below 25$ help!?

    http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Pro_Ionic__d1/a>

The Sedu was also voted Best of Folica.

    :]
    its called the T3.

you can get it at Sephora.com or a sephora store.

    i curl mine with it.

it comes with instructions on how to curl it also with your straightener!

    its absolutely incredible.

also my heat protectant doesn't let it get curly. its gotta be something.( i forgot what its called) its in an orange and pink bottle. thats shaped n a triangle
there are numerous other brands that you can try out, including the rather expensive but famed chi, but my conair has always worked for me. it may also depend on your hair, you could even get hairspray or blow dry with paddle brush(supposedly it works, maybe for some people)
I just use a hairdryer. My straighting iron isn't that good either, but my hairdryer got my hair really straight! :)

    Whats a good hair straightener?

Well right now I have the conair steam straightener. I feel as if it's not doing a great god at all. I leave the house with straight hair and come back to have it back to it's normal curly ways. I want a straigtener to be afforable, works great and keeps my hair straight.Whats a good hair straightener?
AMIKA! It was one of those annoying things at the mall where they're like ';Oh please, let me show you something!'; So I let them try the straightener on me, because I was looking for one anyway. It was amazing! It's new technology, so it actually helps your hair and brings the moisture out. Highly reccomended.Whats a good hair straightener?
I have a Remington Wet to Straight that straightens wet, damp, or dry hair. I works great but can burn and damage your hair if you don't use a protecting spray beforehand. It seriously is AWESOME! It is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. I am not sure of the exact price but i think it is under $40 for sure. It works great, but if you have bangs it isn't the best for that. :0) It also has about 10 heat settings for each wetness of hair
I have a Chi. They're expensive but so worth it. On websites like folica.com or beautychoice.com they're like 100 dollars but I bought mine on ebay for 40. It works MUCH better than the conair flat iron I used to have. My hair doesn't get frizzy and staticy and looks good all the time. Definitely go with the Chi!
it doesn't really matter what the price or brand of hair straighteners. Try and use a leave in conditioner after you have straightened it.
    SEDU

    the best thing ever

i have very curly frizzy hair and it works the best!

    good luck%26lt;3

but the only thing it is $120.

To get a good one you need to spend around $100

    Recommend a good hair straightener?

I need to buy a new hair straightener and I was looking for a good quality one that lasts. All the ones I have bought in the past last for about a year or so and then die. I'm willing to buy a more expensive one as long as it lasts.

    Thanks!Recommend a good hair straightener?
Many people will suggest a Chi, don't get me wrong the are great straighteners. The only thing is that they don't have a dial and they become too hot and can burn your hair and damage it. I would suggest getting one that has a dial and they work just as well and you wont damage your hair.

Oh and a good thing to do if you don't already is to get a product that you put on your hair before straightening it. Redkin has one and I think it is called heat glide or something.

Hope this helps!!Recommend a good hair straightener?
I had a Cortex Hair Straightener...they work great!

I used it for 3 years before it broke down on me, now I'm using a brand called '; L'anza '; , apparantly its top quality? (I got it as a gift from a friend who owns a Hair Salon)

There's also the Chi..which I nevered try, but I heard its a great straightener..I think it's out there in the 200's! For both the Cortex %26amp; L'anza it as about $120.

I suggest reading reviews before you buy one ! :)

    Good Luck!
ok so like definatly a Chi my mom has had hers for 13 years! AND i know where to get one for only 80 dollars! http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5%26amp;item=399536

They cost like a hundred bucks, and more, but if you really straighten you're hair a lot, this one will last with you and make you're hair look amazing.

Okay, I have really coarse, thick, dry hair (i HATE it), i think straightening would help it. Please let me know what straightener works for you and if you have any other tips that would be great too! =)

http://www.chisalonshop.com/CHI-Pink-Fla…I'm looking for a REALLY good hair straightener?
CHI is great, you can find it at www.folica.com. but if you dont want to order online then you can go to Sallys Beauty Supply . they hve a website too . Dont forget too use heat protectant. Anything thats pretty much ceramic or tourmaline is pretty good.
You can try CHI or GHD ,they are all good i have used , and you can buy online ,it will cheap .
I've never heard of CHI's, My hair is quite thick and I use the wide plate GHD's and I can finish my hair in 30 minutes. They are expensive but they last about 3 years =D xx
chi's work rellllllllllllyyyyyyyyy well they work on any hair but they are kind of expensive like 150 dollars i have 5 but thats fine i love them!!!
Yes the CHI is amazing I have one and they work wonders a little high in price but worth it.
    CHI is GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Whats a good hair straightener?

Right now I have a Chi, but it doesnt really straighten my hair that well. I want a straightener that doesnt do too much damage to my hair, but straightens it very well, like pin-straight. Any suggestions?

Price is not a problem, im willing to pay whatever, please help me!Whats a good hair straightener?
CHI doesn't work for you? lol

    how about.......

    Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline

    Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion

    Sedu Revolution Nano Ceramic Tourmaline

    GHD MK4 Ceramic

idk i like CHI and SeduWhats a good hair straightener?
    I really don't like chi's.

Since you said price is not an option, get a GHD.

Look at reviews for this product, it is known to be the best of the best.

Here is a link to what I have found to be the best price, it also has reviews.

    http://www.folica.com/GHD_Ceramic_Hai_d3/a>

I have a Solia 1 1/4'; (hot pink) flat iron, it's very good for me and was affordable (about $80).

    Here you can see reviews:

    http://www.folica.com/Solia_Tourmalin_d1/a>

Also, make sure you always put heat protector in your hair, I use Chi Silk Infusion because it also mousturizes and adds shine.
Chi's are the best, but maybe you are handling it wrong? When you travel with it don't wrap the cord around it because the hot plates will melt the glue and cause them to loosen. Chi's are really delicate!

Mybe hang out at the mall and let those guys with the hair straightener cart test out your hair lol
i bought this one off of tv infomercial thing! its great! it has the little brush like things and combs as it straightens! its cool! it minimizes the heat directly on the strands of hair so doesn't damage it that much! i think its john freida look it up! i pair close to 100 bucks so Worth it!
chi is pretty much the best one out there. if you are worried about it damaging your hair then get a heat protector that you spray on your hair before you use any heat.
