Right now, I have a Revlon hair straightener. It's the skinnier ones and was only about 25-20 bucks. I got it for my birthday about 2 or 3 years ago. Well, I straighten my hair every morning because I have naturally curly hair and I hate it. My hair looks good when I first get done, but it frizzes within like 10 minutes! It's on the highest temp it could go, and it still sucks! I straightened my hair for picture day the other day, and I didnt get my pic taken till after lunch, which is liuke 12:40 and by then, my hair was all ugly and not straight anymore.. so I can just imagine how that pic turned out :(
Anyway...
What's a good hair straightener to get?
My friend said she has a conair infinity.. any experiences with that?
Thanks :)

Apparently the GHDs are the best on the market, i've only used them a couple of times but they work really really well. But they are very expensive. have you tried using a straightening balm before you use your straightener? it helps keep your hair straight for longer.
i have the VS sasoon total freedom 230 straightener, costed $200 %26amp; it takes less then 2 minutes to get to 230° but you shouldnt use it too hot coz ur hair will smell burnt and be dead with split ends. maybe get your hair permanently/chemically straightened?
Get the one your friend has since you're already familiar with it.
Otherwise.....
You could wear skinny jeans...the guys won't be focusing on your hair then.
Or go toppless...then You'll have no problems.
He he he.....
amika is great it doesnt ruin hair and makes hair soft and cleans bacteria
The Straightening PErm Thing, Well I Looked Into That And ONe Of Them You Cannot Do On Colored Or Highlighted Hair, The Other Takes 6 hours, 2 people, and hundreds or dollars. Also, They Only Do It In Big Cities And You Have To Touch It Up Every 3 Months. But I Have A Chi , And I Love It. But If You Do Decide To get A Chi DO NOT BUY A PRETTY DESIGN. DO NOT. I Had 8 Of Them, Until Someone finally said '; the plain black are better, the plastics ones, the mainly focus on the design,'; So yeah uy a plain black one, its better :) They Heat Up Within Seconds. You'd Be Amazed. Buy One, Try It Out, If Ya Hate It, Take It BAck. Also, don't buy a chi from amazon, mine from there lasted less than a month,
i got the Kiyoseki Professional Hair Styler. i too suffer from naturally curly hair and i've never been able to find a straightner that would straighten without frizz and last all day until i got my kiyoseki. this thing is amazing. it straightnes (and curls) while adding volume to your hair. its got ceramic plates with digital temperature control and heats up super fast. it takes less time, it leaves your hair super soft and much more manageable. after the first time i used it all i wanted to do was run my fingers through my hair! LOL! it was amazing! i became addicted, everybody would say ';enough already stop touching your hair'; LOL! after using it for awhile i noticed that my hair started to become more and more easier to straighten. and when i wouldn't straighten it, it would get really tangled, rough and frizzy so i would have no choice but to plug in the kiyoseki. it was kinda like if my hair was forcing me to use it! LOL! seriously though, i'm tellin you girl, get one. they are pretty expensive though (paid $169.00), mine was ordered from the company over the phone and paid for with a credit card because that was the only way to get one but that was about a year ago, now they have them several places online and offer pretty good deals but i don't know anything about the quality of those. anyway if you do get it you won't be dissappointed, i promise! good luck!
