What's a good hair straightener?
i have the andis ceramic hair straightener. i bought it from walmart for only 15$. its was a very good investment because it does its job for about 3 years now. give it a couple seconds and it will heat up pretty fast!! does pretty curls too. my hair is also a medium thick. i love it.

its actually a few cents cheaper at the store.
Best thing is to get a conair brand at walmart or cvs.

The higher the price is really better quality,

and the higher the temperature the better it straightens.

Usually to keep your hair in good condition keep the temp under 300.

But all you should do is go to walmart, look at them all, get one with a small like 1 inch peice of iron, not the big fat ones, that's expensive.
anything tht u get frm a salon should be in pretty good shape, but dont get those crappy ones frm walmart and all those crappy places. they stink %26amp; ull b lucky if they last u a week w/o breaking in half.

I swear, it was the best straightener I'd ever used, and for a good price. It's only $17 now. It's a little chunky, but it lasted me a long time.

Well, I saw your question, and I was all ready to recommend the CHI, which is the kind I have that works great. Some alternatives are Generic Value Products and Biosilk. Google them both. Good luck!
That straightener is no bueno girl!

Bedhead is AMAZING! It straightens so well.
let it become almost dry and then use a big round brush and blow dry each section. No chemicals to harm your hair.
