Is there a good hair straightener at walmart? and other questions...?

do they have any with a price of about $20?

also like when you straighten your hair, do you need some oil or something? or can you just straighten it?

what's the difference between a hair straightener and a flat iron?

is ceramic good?

some tips and advices when going out to buy one?Is there a good hair straightener at walmart? and other questions...?
I have a remington wet 2 straight flat iron and it actually works better than the $120 sedu iron I got today which I'm going to return. It actually flattens your hair.

And you need to use a heat protectant when straightening your hair to protect from damage. I use CHI 44 iron guard, but you can use any other heat protectant.

There is now different between a straightener and a flat iron, they are the same, but just have two different names.

Ceramic is great, tourmaline is even better!

If you have long hair, I suggest getting a 1 1/2 inch one. But if you have shorter hair, you can use a 1 inch. I have hair that touches my chest and I find a 1 inch works better. Is there a good hair straightener at walmart? and other questions...?
Drugstore flat irons are the worst flat irons out there. They break easily, and kill your hair, even with added protection. Also, they have thin if even any ceramic. Have you seen the term ';nano-ceramic';?

That means there is only a little bit of ceramic, a NECESSITY for flat ironing hair. THey produce a different type of heat, that is much more gentle and effective.

Don't get a drugstore flat iron, even going to your local Sally's is much better.

When you straighten hair, make sure to use a heat protectant.

Tips and Tricks:

Make sure you get a ceramic flat iron

Get one with a long warranty and look for what it covers

Has the right size plates for your hair

None of those flat irons. If you are willing to get a professional grade flat iron got to Folica.com to search the flat irons.

HAPPY HAIR
ANDIS is the best it's like a different version of CHI and I got it at Walmart for 15 dollars. You do need something like oil but not like regular oil because that doesn't protect your hair from damage. Get a heat protection spray which is similar to oil except it also protects and shines your hair giving you the healthy beautiful sleek shiny straight hair. The Wet2Straight flar iron by Remington is really good. I would get the one inch because if you get the 2 you can't really get to the root as much. It kept my hair really straight. But I returned it after a few days because mine sparked fire for no apparent reason.
since it's walmart , and its the holidays im pretty sure theres a striaghtener thats 20 dollars.

u need a heat protectant, tresemme is good.

no oil .

straightener: ceramic, and ceramic is good. some straighteners are ceramic

flat iron: metal= bad, damages hair easily.

get 1 inch, with round edges so you can curl hair

look at youtube for more information.

idk bout' the quality, your sure not gonna find something like the CHI at walmart.
would say at walmart the best straightner was the remington brand that made ';wet 2 straight'; it is about 30 dollars and works very well. it straightens your hair while wet and it works great. u should give it a try.

u need thermal protection spray

they're the same thing

never tried it
