Personally, I use

All of these are great, I use the GHD the most because it works the fastest, the pink and patterned one only for touch ups when my hair is already straightened. What is a good hair straightener?
We have a CHI and it works great.
you want to go professional with flat irons, they are the way to go to get the best result. remember ceramic.. go into a Sally's.. or a hair cuttery, they sell good fair priced professional flat irons..
GHD's are the best you can buy.
CHI
bedhead

try this if you have wavy hair:

It makes your hair sooo soft and smooth

if you have hard to manage curly hair try this one:

I have a CHI straightener and i LOVE it! the only thing is that its alot of heat on your hair so you have to get products to protect your hair from the heat.

Make sure you get it from a beauty store and not wal-mart because they sell fake ones. Go to an ULTA they have them there for about $99
The CHI. Its realllyy good. But its about 100-150 dollars.
the chi is definitely the best and less damaging than the others. but remember, ceramic plates are a millions times healthier for your hair than metal plates.
I use Remington wet2straight. It works great and leaves my hair silky.
ghd's or babyliss depending on your price range
I use Babyliss, it's really nice.
