Whats a good hair straightener?

I have thick and wavy hair and no hair straighteners work for me. I have a ceramic one but it doesnt work for me. It tends to fry me hair.

I have the andis and chi one. They work fine for me. Andis gets hot faster so i use it in the morning bfore i go to school. But the chi one gives me a more fuller look, eventhough it may take a while to get to the heat i would prefer. But i am so happy, i was getting my hairdone yesterday and looked over on the counter and saw the CHI hair straightner guess i did pretty good. Oh yea it's worth a pretty penny too. The cheapest one u could find is probably 60 dollars.
i have really thick and wavy/ frizzy hair ....i use CHI....it works really well!! the only thing is that it kinda damages ur hair so yeah....it works AWESOME!!! the best straightener EVER!!!!!!!!!
I love my Chi Straightener. Use Biolage Hair serum with it, it works fantastic. My hair is thick and frizzy too and Biolage hair serum is good. then one a week use Biolage Deep Conditioner.

ok i have the same problem but last christmas i ask for a hair straigtner and it works i got it from Sallys Beauty and it is a hair place it is called a curlmaster but it is a straighten and it works wonders!!!! and when you straigten your hair pull the top part up and evenually work your way down so you will have a better looking straight hair!!! i hope it works!!!!!
