Which is better? Hair Straightener or Flat Iron?

I have a hair straightener only.


But i was wondering if i should get a Flat Iron for Christmas.





My hair is really rough and kinda frizzy and kinda short.


I want it to be really soft and smooth but also straight so my hair can be longer.


Would it be better for me use a Flat iron?Which is better? Hair Straightener or Flat Iron?
THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. i dont understand the question straightener is the term they used until improvements were done to the technology of straighteners, along came a new professional name for them, flat iron. Of course the best flat irons are your best bet, but you can call them wither ';straigtener'; or ';flat iron';
