a chi is a good straightener, but they cost like 150 bucks or more... you could go to walmart or zellers and gte a flat iron for about 50 bucks and its quite good i have had mine for about 6 - 10 months now and it still works really well :D
they also have ones that spin your hair around a brush and uses steam to straighten which is much more of a pretctant to your hair...and causes less frizz and less split ends ';DWhat is a good hair straightener?
straightener's are all pertty similar. they all take about a minute to wark up and give about the same heat. there are only 2 real things that change, wet-to-dry or just dry, and the surface size.
If you have long hair you probably want a larger surface area to cut down on time. and if you plan on straightening soon after you shower get a wet-to-dry, but this can damage your hair.
Expensive straighteners don't really do anything better. you should be able to get something decent for $15-$30. I got mine at target for $20.
Mine is a Remington Wet 2 Dry straightener, and I got it at walmart for 25 dollars and it works just as good as the expensive straighteners.
