What's a really good hair straightener?

i've heard that the CHI is really good, but is it good and what are some other brands that are good? i have a lot of wavy and very thick hair. i need something that will do a good job of straightening it and make my hair silky. and i want it to not dry my hair out, or make my hair greasy! thank you! What's a really good hair straightener?

I do not recommend CHI now only because they are no longer made in Korea, they are now mass produced in Texas and the quality has gone way down. If you can find one made in Korea, go for it. Although I do find them a bit drying,

My CHI (made in Korea) just broke a couple weeks ago, I had it for 6 years. So I bought the GHD IV Styler, and I must say, it is definitely better than the CHI. My second pick would be the Sedu Revolution
i have the chi. it works amazing. it heats up right away and it gets really hot. it doesn't take long to straighten hair because it works so well. it doesn't make ur hair dry or greasy and what i love about it is you can straighten, curl, and flip and do anything u please with the chi. i love it!
i am punk 4 years and making hairstyle like in avatar and i still have all of my hair because i was them with beer sometimes and sometimes with onions

P.S.: after onion therapy yo`ll smell terrible for some time but it is really effective

the straightener that i have is a Remington wet 2 straight straightener it works really good on wet or dry hair

curly hair is prettier these days. there's nothing u can do with straight hair. there are many styles you can try with curly or wavy hair and any products will just damage your hair more
i use CONAIR its like a 1 inch and its white. it works veryyy good! it gets up to 395 degrees!
GHD's are a pair of top quality hair straighteners. They leave hair glossy and straight. Well worth the money.
