40 mins. to heat up and it made my hair feel
like hay and
I AM NOT BUYING A CHI
i want something thats under $30
so whats a good brand?
remington, conair, revlon, andis, or vidal sassoon
what do u recomend?Whats a good hair straightener/flat iron?
I also had the remington wet 2 straight, but I had the wet 2 styled which had curved blades so you could use that to do other stuff with your hair and not just straighten. I would recommend not using it when your hair is very very wet, since it made my hair really frizzy when I did that. I usually could do it when it was damp or dry best but it worked really well. I upgraded that one for a Herstyler which was 189$ but if I had to go back I'd use the remington wet 2. It was 22$ at walmart, and yes it does have vents that help with the heat damage. It lasts long as well!Whats a good hair straightener/flat iron?
I have a Remington Wet 2 Straight. It works well either way. It makes a crackling song when its wet, but really kool. I like it better than conair cause its cheaper and my Remington has lasted why longer than my conair. The only complaint I have is that when I get my highlights for my hair done and straightened it some of the dye comes off and burns into the straightener. Other than that its great. If you have hard to manage hair I recommend turning it up to 25-28 that's what I always set mine at. Its like a 2 minute heat-up and works really well. I think mine was maybe like $20-$30. I got it at Sally's, but you get them at Walmart, Target, etct. for somewhat cheaper prices. I think Ulta has some, too, but they are more. The one I have also has heat vents on top that protect the hair a little more. It helps with frizz, but you still get some frizz so it helps to use hairspray. Lastly, this is optional but if you straighten your hair more than twice a week then you should buy a hair product to protect the ends more. I use something thats made by Garnier Fruitrus (Can't spell). I would use something better, but when you work at a barn the last thing you want is to buy some $20 bottle that is small only to go to a barn and take out trail rides. People don't care what the hair looks like if its nicely put up when riding.
Good Luck. best answer???
My remington is really good,
it goes to 230 degrees and has ceramic plates to help protect my hair, I've never had a problem with it and it was only $40
I suggest you lift your price range just a little and go to kmart or something and get a remington.
Braun Satin hair is the best ceramic Straightener from braun here it is picture

If you can't buy it online then get a Remington.
