Need a good hair straightener !?

I have medium length wavy hair that tends to curl on the tips. I need a straightener that will not only straighten the hair, but keep it straight for a long time. I have really layered hair, and the tips usually start to curl, or never straighten in the first place when i use my current straightener.

I dont want anything that damages or burns hair easily (like Chi), because my hair is already dry P:

At Folica.com the sell the Solia and it is PERFECT (goes 50 degrees higher than the chi)*450 and is ceramic, its only 80 bucks and seriously just great.. On the site it's actually rated higher then chi and stuff but if you have 200$ to spend i would seriously invest in a ghd iron they are AWESOME but the price sucks :(
