I have been getting my chemically straightened, and all was going well; my hair was perfectly fine. Then, after the 5th time, I ended up with a lot of damage. So, my hairstylist and I decided to stop with the chemicals.
Now that I am going back to my curly curly curly hair, lol, I want to find a good hairstraightener for when my hair is curly again -- which won't be for a while considering it has to grow in.
Before chemically straightening, I used all different kinds of straighteners. They worked well, but were inexpensive.. so they broke quickly, damaged my hair, etc.
So.. I want a good straightener (idc about the price) that will last me a while, and will give me the least damage!
thanks!A really good hair straightener?
I like my chi and I use the chi conditioning oil too. You have to use some kind of conditioning oil or you will fry your hair.A really good hair straightener?
hi, I'm using HERSTYLER. Its a bit xpensive but hey its worth it!
They have 6 different hair straightner.
Forever- $175
Colorful season- $200
PinkPurpleBlack- $250(I got this one)
Sensu-$300
Onyx-$250
W2D PRO-300.
I would recommend the FOREVER bcus it has 100%ceramic plates, 1.5';wide, %26amp; adjustable heat up to 200degree celcius for your hair type.
Highlights%26amp;features:
-tourmaline ceramic plates guarantee smooth straightening motion w/out pulling or breakage of hair.
-hair become up to 3x smoother%26amp;silkier than using ordinary ceramic iron.
-cut your hair straightening In half bcus of the negative ions.
Faster to heat up.
Hope this would help. =))
I found mine in the mall at one of the kiosks (I know they sound totally cheap and scary) but it works really well. It was only about $200, too, so if it does ever brake, I can replace it without having to spend $600. I have really really curly hair (tight, small ringlets), too, and it works well for me. It takes me about 2 hours to straighten my hair with it (I have really thick hair). So, with all of that said, get one of the pink ones in the mall with the people who are always stopping people and asking if they can straighten their hair.
I hope this helps!
Get yourself a Remington ';wet2straight'; hair straightener and before using it apply a bit of Biosilk ';silk therapy'; to the ends of your hair while it is still damp. I try and let my hair air dry instead of blow drying it to avoid damage and then I use the straightener on a low level. Trust me if it works for me it will work for you!!! lol
Revlon is awesome! i have one because of my curly hair and it helps. it only takes about 10 minutes to straighten all my hair(which is amazing!) and i bought for 35 dollars...maybe less! u can can one at Marshall's, wegmans, target and JC Penney's. i think this is a great answer to your question! and plz trust me...it also has a button u can press and when your hair is wet, you can still straighten it! amazing huh?! try it!
i have reall puffy and curly hair. I hate it, and my friends say it damages my curls, so thanks for the reminder!!! and well one of my good friends has this awesome straightener. To check it out, click this link. (sorry its a huge link)

the kiyoseki; its like a godsend, it still damages a litte, no one straightener wont damage it, but its super minimal, and if you have a good moisturizing condition, youll be fine
i love it

FHI or an Infrashine straightener- they range anywhere from like $120 to $300 but i have super curly long hair and mine is straight and smooth in less than 5 minutes!
A Chi or Ghd
there kinda expensive, but worth it...
You can order them online. or your local salon might carry them.
Ask your hairdresser what kind is best.
chi straighteners are good...
