What's a good hair straightener to get that's affordable?

I'm on a limited budget, I can't go out to a boutique or salon and buy a professional hair straightener.


I need something that is affordable, but that works well.


My hair is very weird, there are parts that are curly, parts that are wavy and parts that are straight, so I need something that's going to do a good job. I want something that's 1 inch (I have short hair and bangs, so this is a must) and will work well on my hair in a good amount of time, since I have a limited amount of time to do it every morning before school. I've tried a lot of different brands and makes and nothing seems to do the job very well.


I know about the damage straighteners do to hair, but I'm not worried about it, no products can tame my hair, so please don't advise me to use products instead of straightening it.

I have a Remington Wet2Straight hair straghtener that goes up really hot and it comes in a 1 inch and 2 inch. It's also only about $20 at walmart or target :D





I must advixe you against straightening your hair when it is wet because it fried my hair extremely baddly.
go to sally's and get one that says it's made with tourmaline. it wont be super cheap but it'll be cheaper then a chi... and tourmaline is actually better for your hair then ceramic.... but ceramic is still good if you must. just don't get conair or revlon.
hai, okay i have s00per curly hair and i straighten it every day,you need a ceramic straightener,its better.and i would prefer the chi brand possibly,thats the best one for me.
i bought a Conair hair straightner for 20 bucks.


it gets up to 275 degrees.

Ummm well you could get the generic version of the Chi, they sell it at like sallys!
u should definatly get a chi they work the best.
