What's a good hair straightener out there?

Okay so i've heard the CHI flat irons are really good, but they're just too exspensive and not what i'm really looking for. I have very long hair, texture is normal, and it's thick and wavy...not straight, but not super curly. I want a straightener that takes a little less time and that works well. The one i used to have lasted 2 yrs, worked pretty well and was one of those big kinds..i'm looking for a skinny one this time. I'm willing to spend up to $75. Any ideas? Best answer gets 10 pts.! the conair infinity works really good i have really thick hair and its naturally curly. get a good hair protector and i would really suggest getting biosilk silk therapy its amazing! its a little pricey but its so worth it and it last forever!What's a good hair straightener out there?
i'm not sure if you can get them in the state, but we have hair straighteners in the uk called hair toolz! they are used in most major salons and are great at what they do, they have ceramic plates and 4 different heat settings depending on your hair type! google it have a go find out!
I think it really depends on you hair type. My daughter ( African American ) has soft curly hair and the chi iron didn't straighten her hair to me. So I use the flat iron with the gold metal on the inside. You can get these from Sally's or your locak beauty supply store. Make sure you use a good heat protecion on your hair.

the chi straighteners are usually really good :) my friend has that one and she loves it

also if u wanna spend a little more there is the royal straightener which i have and love but that is like100 so you may not want it

i think the best would be remington because its easy to hold and can change the temp to suit you and its size is normal or average i guess hope i helped theirs also Nicky Clarke hes quite good x
i have a wet2straight from walmart and its not even that expensive and i think it works really good.
