Good hair straightener?

i have like 5 straighteners and they all are terrible!! they work but they take like a day to heat up andthe dont even straighten. i need a new one. under $100 please. i wouldnt mind a CHI straightener.



i need a really good one because my hair is kinda hard to control.

In terms of performance:



The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands



Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,



Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss



Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

everyone will tell you CHI, however I've read up on them extensively and they don't have as long of a life span as the SEDU. I just bought the 08 revolution with 1'; plates and it's truly flawless. You should look into it at folica.com.

This thing is amazing. I got one for my birthday this year (I had been dropping hints forever). It'll completely straighten the most stubborn of hair and the look lasts all day. Also, they have adjustable temperature settings and take less than a minute to heat up.

The cost is usually a little over $100. You can find them at ULTA (a beauty store) or online at Folica.com. I can almost guarantee that you'll love this flat iron!
ive straightened my hair twice went to the dollar store once and bought a three dollar straightener it worked great i dont think it matters i didnt pay alot for the second neither it worked great to.dont waste your money on the best .just buy the cheapest it will be ok.i never had to heat up mine,i saw what the other girl wrote i bought a creme.

i got my sedu for x-mas %26amp;%26amp; i have super super curly hair and it straightens it out perfectly and i can do it in 20 minutes! my old [jil bere de paris] flat iron took me 45 minutes. you can even seee the differance in the plates, the sedu plates are ceramic tourlamine, and they are shiny%26amp;black and glide through that hair really nicely!%26lt;3you should try it! and comes witha 2 year warranty if you order from www.folica.com



oh yeah and the CHIs are okay but break easily, and feel cheaply made.
CHI is the best! Make sure that you are using all good products, too. The CHI producst are great- I would suggest buying the CHI hair straigtner and CHI silk infusion before you straighten on wet hair and then spray CHI shine infusion spray when the hair is done!
i got baybliss pro elegance 230, after my chi's broke and i think their just as good! :) and cheaper, but my hair isnt curly just wavy! x
my hair straightener is awesome! It's jilbere de paris, and works great.



it's also good to try putting straightening creme in your hair, before you straighten it.. it leaves your hair soft, unlike gel, and easier to straighten.



Dove straightening creme is a good choice :)

GHDS RULEE! just look on ebay or amazon or somewhere like that you can find them ALOT cheeper here, and if u can wait try going on just after a holiday period where many people sell their unwanted xmas presents, ghds are always concidered the best but not always affordable.
