What is a really good hair straightener?

I heard that ones with ceramic plates don't damage your hair as much. Could you reccomend some that you think work really well?What is a really good hair straightener?

I have a Maxiglide. I have shoulder length wavy hair and it takes about 5 min. to straighten my hair. My hair is not dry or damaged. I use Dove shampoo and conditioner.
The wet to straight straightener works really good. I have wavy hair and it makes it completely straight and also very silky. Just don't use it when your hair is wet. I know you can, but it makes your hair feel like hay. You can get it at wal-mart for like around $23.
Use an ionic flat iron. It will not curl back easly.

Corioliss Black Ceramic Hair Straightner - this is best one I've had all my life! You can find it on eBay for aobut $40
chi's are really good. but they're pretty expensive. you have to buy them at salons
GHD's are the best! i would not beable to cope without mine!i have thick curly frizzy hair but after using them my hair is smooth sleek and shiny until the next wash! i recommend u get a pair!
