the Chi irons work really well...they dont dry out your hair in any way...however you will have to pay an arm and a leg for it...before i got a Chi I had a flat iron I got from wal mart and on the box it said ';from wet to straight'; i never tried it on wet hair ...obviously but it worked really well...i still have it (going on three years) and when i dont have my chi i use it...it was only like 14 bucks..hope that helps (and yes three years was a long time ago...for a hair product...but they still have them...my friend just got one)
If you are a african american with african american hair you can try relaxing you hair with a nice relaxer i recommend ';Dark and Lovely'; or if you are young a relaxer called ';Just for me'; i hope this helps!! : ]
