I use Remington's Wet-2-Style.
It has thirty settings for five hair types [very fine, fine, medium, thick, very thick] in three conditions [dry, damp, and wet]. It also has a curved plate so you can straighten your hair, flip it out, crimp it, etc. It heats up really fast- about thirty seconds on setting 15. There's really nothing I don' like about it. I think I bought mine for around $15-25 at Walmart two years ago, Walmart doesn't sell it anymore. Here's the lowest I found it, at Target for $27

Remington also sells a Wet-2-Straight, which is basically the same thing with a flat plate.
Walmart, $24
