Really good hair straightener(s) please?

Hello Ladies!

However, my hair is naturally wavy (like my avatar). I would like to know if someone can recommend a good quality hair straightener that I can use to style my hair after I wash it. I have never used a hair straightener before so I don't want to damage my hair.

Make sure to use a thermal spray to protect your hair. V05 makes a good one. You could blow your hair out with a round brush and hair dryer, or use a flat iron. There are some good straigteners at Ulta stores. The Chi iron is also good, but pricey.
