walgreensHey im lookin to get my girl a good hair straightener does any body know where, what kind,to look for cuz i don
world beauty ceramic, about $150, it's amazing, the best thing that ever happened to hair!
Make sure you get a ceramic one so it doesnt damage her hair. I have one by Colorliss... you can look it up online. Mine is called Jade but they have a lot... theyre a bit on the expensive side but well worth it!
Don't spend $150 on a hair straightener - that's a bunch of crap. There are SO many good ones on the market any more. I have super stubborn curly hair and I have a conair ceramic technology flat iron that ROCKS! I think I got it at Target for less than $30 . . . Get one that has ceramic plates and adjustable temperature. Make sure it says ceramic because it causes less damage to the hair and it leaves the hair super shiny . . . GO SHOPPING!
I can't reply to your message because your ';email has not been confirmed'; or something like that. Anyway, here's my reply:
Okay, here's the scoop . . . My straightener gets super hot - I have pretty thick hair that goes below my shoulders and it takes me less than 25 minutes to straighten it. I guess the time you spend depends on what kind of hair you have, how hot the CERAMIC plates get and how often you straighten it. If there is a specific one she wants, get it. Seriously, girls don't like getting something other than EXACTLY what they ask for. If not, I'd just get one with ceramic plates, adjustable heat (you want that bugger to get HOT) and a good amount of plate surface. I have a CONAIR Ceramic Technology one that has turbo heat and a removable comb on one side (this really helps), I got it at Target and I think it was anywhere between 25-35 bucks. I used to use my sister's (she pd 100+ for hers at a salon) and I like mine WAY better. Get her the one at Target or wherver, keep the receipt, and if she doesn't like it after she tries it, you can totally take it back! I hope this helps - we women can be pretty difficult sometimes!
Try a beauty supply house or ask a salon that you use. I suggest trying a Chi Iron. I have had two and I love them! In my experience they do not do too much damage to your hair if you use the proper oils and sprays that come with the straightner. I have used a Chi for years and I also get my hair highlighted and it has done minimal damage; nothing that an ends trim would not cure. They are kind of exspensive, like $100 dollars I think, but they are well worth it!
