well there really isnt any i bought one for 18 before and trust me it didnt last and then i had to buy another so you might as well get one tht lasts and is worth the money, i have bought one from sally beauty for around 40 and omg its amazing! my friend has a top brand chi and mine works if not just as good or better than hers. and ive had it for a year and still working, it actually makes your hair feel soft after straightening. its called plugged in ill get the link for ya :

Ok so I'm sorry this isn't really the answer you were looking for, but I've gone through a lotttt of straighteners, and I found that the best are definitely Chi or Sedu.....except both are around $100. They are so expensive because they have ceramic plates that actually work! But I would definitely go to Ebay and try to find a good deal on one of those in an auction, you never know!

Don`t waste your money. They will work for like 20 minutes and the your hair will go back to what it was....and if your hair is normal to thick it will be even worse.
