Does the Conair Instant Heat 2'; Wet/Dry Straightener work well?

Will it straighten thick, curly/wavy hair? When you straighten it while it's wet does it ruin your hair? Does it work well while straightening both dry and wet? COMMENTS AND REVIEWS PLZ
