What's a good hair straightener for wavy hair?

Okay I have naturally wavy hair like my avatar..and I'm getting my bangs cut like that in a few weeks. Anybody know a really good straightener to straighten really wavy thick hair that can straighten in about 5 minutes? I have to shower every morning before school..but I don't have time to straighten it. My straightener that I have right now takes about 15-20 mintues and it doesn't even straighten the back very good. Thanks! What's a good hair straightener for wavy hair?
do want sometinh permanent or just a flat iron? you need to make sure the hair is prety dry and apply a protectant first that helps to keep it straight longer. You can blow dry it srtaight then use the oiron that will cut down on your time Good Luck! What's a good hair straightener for wavy hair?
Invest in a good straightener like ghd. Don't buy the cheap ones they don't work well. Try saving up and then getting a good one.

The best thing is to put straightening cream into wet hair, blow dry and then straighten - its the quickest way, coz you can't really straighten wet hair- Remington has a straightener called wet-to-straight, but I wouldn't want anything electrical in my hair while it's wet.

Good luck.
You really cant find a decent one for under twenty dollars you need to use a ceramic flat iron there is a brand called CHI ask your local hairstylist she can order you one from her distributor.
A flat iron a straightener would not work.
i really dont think you can get a qUALITY STRAIGHTENER FOR UNDER $20.
hot tools that is the bect i have one
You should go by walmart. They have straighteners there, but I had to buy mine from JCPenney because my hair is wavy and there is a lot of it. But try wal-mart....make sure you keep your receipt and if it doesn't work take it back.
What ever you do, don't get the wet to dry straightener. It fries your hair! It will ruin your hair much worse and faster than anything else! My professional hairstyler had a woman who tried it once come in in tears bec. her hair BROKE. I would try CHI if you are looking for an electric styling. But if you are looking for something more permanent, I get this chemical straightening (not as bad as it sounds). It's by CHI, lasts a year and puts nutrients and shine back in your hair that others take out. It also lasts for a year and makes your hair dry stick straight w/o using a hair dryer. But, look around for a stylist w/ the certificate. That means they have taken the CHI course and is a professional with it.
Try getting some GHD's on ebay.

If you don't get GHD's just make sure the plates are straight - I used to have some Nikki Clarke ones with a rounded edge and they were rubbish!
The Sedu Hair straightner. It's alot of money but it works phenomenally.
Your best bet would be to wash your hair the night before and style it then. In the morning when you take a shower use a shower cap. You might have a bit of bed head too, so all you have to do is run a brush or comb through your hair and run the flat iron through real quick. Shouldnt take more than five minutes to do that. One of your problems might also be your flat iron. I doubt you will find a quality iron for under 20 dollars. If you have a gold plated iron you should upgrade to ceramic. It's a little more expensive, but well worth it. You can get them for like 30 dollars. See, the problem with Gold plated is that it can create hot spots which will burn your hair. The ceramic is an even heat, tames frizz, and it retains heat much better. Curlmaster and Jilbere make pretty good flat irons (WAYYY cheaper than Chi but work just as good)
i got the best straitner ever the other day its called wet 2 dry doesnt dry my hair tht good but wen its dry it takes less than 5 min to straiten it. Just make sure u read the directions first. If u dont ull burn ur hair.its only 20 dollars at wal-mart. the chi stratners over 100 dollars.
Just rub olive oil on your hair before you go to the shower. Your hair will look glossy and straight.
nothing in this world takes 5 min
