I use Sedu. I heard it is better than CHI. I been using Sedu for 5 months now and I loveee it! I have wavy, frizzy hair and this iron makes all the frizz go away! People always think I just came out of the salon. The iron can create straight hair and curl it also. It's a bit pricey (120.00) but definitely worth it!

I definitely suggest CHI as you stated because it is ceramic and wont damage your hair as the other straighteners will. Also, CHI curls very well. I use it and it makes beautiful spiral curls. I went to Polaris Mall and there was a ';station'; for CHI straighteners and it works amazing the guy showed me how to curl (take a piece of hair turn the straightener in and pull it towards you) and then it is so good that then you can regularly straighten that same strip and it is perfectly straight. This is just a suggestion, hope it helps! ( you can also get it in pink)!
