i havent really been able to find many reviews on it but the ones i did find vary

YESS OMG I LOVE IT..it's not supposed to be used with other products in you hair though, and obviously don't straighten your hair when wet or damp. and unlike a lot of other straightners there's no metal in it, so its ceramic and tourmaline, because metal straightners cause hair to fry. its really good.Is the cortex tourmaline hair straightener ceramic iron zebra any good?
oh you can use heat protection spray though, and don't worry if it steams, you're not burning your hair...

just use protections pray, to protect against heat

I have never tried it. But the Sedu works very well.
