How to convince my dad to buy me a good hair straightener?

You know dads right don't really care for beauty product such as make up hair stuff and straighteners so how to convince him to buy me one but to buy me a good expensive oneHow to convince my dad to buy me a good hair straightener?
do odd jobs and earn it yourself

get a part time job

or just clean around the house and do favours for him etc. wash his cars vacume mop mow gardenHow to convince my dad to buy me a good hair straightener?
Take him to a beauty salon store where there are alot of good ones and the prices range. And he will have no choice you can't get a cheap one, you need one that is for your hair length depends on the size of the straightener part, the thickness of it or whatever. And you may not need the most expensize one there, I mean you can get a pretty good one on slae for about 40-50 doolars I would not spend much more then that, you will go through a bunch of those in life you just need one that gets hot enough to straighten your hair and one that is the right size depending on your hair length. But tell him not to buy you a 20.00 one chances are it is not going to be the right size, it is not going to get hot enough to even straighten your hair and it will probally brake within a week, so he will actually save cause i can say that I have never bought a cheap one that lasted more then a week or two they blow up from the heat and stop heating up you go through a couple of those anyways so why not get one for the price you will have to pay for 3 that will keep breaking. But the prices at the salons are fair and they keep good ones there anywats not the cheap walmart kinds so go there, if u have a sally's go there they have the best. Ow and gold/silver plated don't matter so don't pay extra for it to look good go for quality, like the heat levels, the inch size and the price.. good luck, i bought a couple cheap ones too and now I have had the one I use every day for 4 years and never had a problem it was 65.00 well worth every penny too.
Make a budget with him. Say you will do certain stuff on certain days and make a point system (points are easier to get than money from a dad) %26amp; you earn a certain number of points for each task each day (compromise with him or he won't go along with it). Once you get up to so many points you get the straightener you want. Make sure you have a specific one already worked out with him so there's not confusion in the end. This will show him you're willing to work %26amp; put effort into it.

Try to plan it all out before you approach him so it looks like you've put thought into it. %26amp; that way you will be able to answer all of his questions too.

GOOD LUCK :o)
Haha, had the same problem about 2 months ago with my mom. This is what i said, ';...unless you want to spend $35.00 for a hair straightener that WE BOTH know is gonna be generic and brake, why not just one ONE actual good one that's worth the money to get?';
';expensive'; doesn't always mean ';good';.
do nice things for him like a week after u ask

becuz if he thinks ur just being nice just to get the straightner he wont let it

so ask...wait a week..do lots of nice things for a week...ask again
