Are there any good hair straighteners i can get?

i would like a fairly cheap one, perhaps under $30

and are the ones from Target any good?

(( i have straight hair, medium length. its kinda thick and it tends to get a bit wavy and sometimes frizzy))Are there any good hair straighteners i can get?
I'd reccomend 3 pairs!...but they're not under your asking price.. :S

1) Corioliss (C2's) these are what i use and they are amazing..they also have a proecting serum in them which keeps your hair healthier but im from the UK but im sure you'd still get them in the US

2) GHD's the name says it all-it means Good Hair Day and they were really good but i found them slightly more damaging to your hair in the long run but as long as you use a protector spray its fine

3) S.H.E's They arent as great as the other 2 but they're still OK i find they are a bit hard to pull through your hair...

hope this helpss.....xxxxAre there any good hair straighteners i can get?
i have one called a toolscience. it goes up to 475 degrees. it was $50. DO NOT BUY A CHEAP STRAIGHTENER! they do not work and are a waste of money! do notbuy them from drugstores or target and the like. sallys has good straighteners but the cheapest one with any quality is going to be 50-60$.
I dont have an answer for you but im warning you NOT to get Conair. I bought a $20 one and it broke after using it a couple times. It didnt get very hot either so..

I use a blue one from Bed Head. Its 60-70 dollars when I bought it. It goes up to 400 degrees.

Good luck :]
i think that conair is quite dependable i have one and it works really well

also the bed head ones are very nice

i no there reall y expensive but the chi are definately the best

look at drugstore.com there very cheap
I dont no like prices and stuff, but a good straightener is one that goes up to at least 300

that should Straighten ur hair,

mine goes up to 430 but i paid like 150 for it, but just look at the degress it goes up to.
oh well under 30 might be hard to get a good one. but i have one called rusk it was more like 175 but it was worth it its supposed to be better than chi. it leaves your hair shiny and heats up i no time works great and last long
Sorry, but the ones that are under $30 are crap. I suggest you invest a little more in a better one like the CHI. It's amazing, but it's like $100.
I have a Corioliss Zebra Print straightener I got off of ebay for $50!

It's amazing, and I think it's better than Chi, they have all different types of prints.
